Passion for teaching never dies: Education is not preparation for life, Education is life itself

I would like to share my journey from a student who was above average in studies to a mentor who taught and mentored around 15000+ students for their Post Graduate and Graduate Courses, spanning my 12 years of teaching career (2008-2020)

I completed my education from Indore and was always above average student in the class, till I found a new spark in me to perform better and the spark came from nowhere but from my teachers and friends.

Science was my favourite subject and I had special inclination towards how things work, so maths was always secondary to me, as I couldn't understand the logic behind many mathematical equations. But then I would like to quote the following that changed my perception towards Maths: "A good teacher shares, a better teacher demonstrates and the best INSPIRE", same happened to me. I got some of the best teachers, who taught me and showed me the right path and direction.

Teaching Maths and understanding psychology of students' learning.

Since I was inclined and interested towards both Science and Maths I decided to pursue engineering which I did with specialization in Electrical & Electronics. During my college life I started solving tough problems in Maths for my classmates and even started taking tuition for classes upto 10th class.

Teaching students not only made me realized that I am pro at Maths but also helped me to understand the psychology of students while learning. They had day to day problems due to lack of guidance/awareness or you can say counselling. This gave me a sense of opportunity at that time to start guiding students for their right career.

After completing my engineering I worked with a MNC for 6 months and then followed my heart. In 2008 joined a National level Institute which provided coaching to students for their MBA, BBA and other courses from India and Abroad.

I take proud in saying that my students have studied or studying in top colleges of India like IIMs, IITs, FMS, XLRI etc.

After working with CAT industry for 12 years, I felt to focus on school students to guide them for their future and let them understand the importance of foundation they are laying for their future. With this vision of having strong foundation and better education I started Acumen Academy Vadodara in which we teach students for NTSE, Olympiads, JEE foundation - both online & offline.
