How To Maintain Work-Life Balance?
Work-life balance: people spend hours on this subject and most of us strongly wish to have the same in routine life.
Playing multiple roles.
I come from a middle-class family. My father being a teacher and I been grown up in a small town, we couldn't think beyond studies and a dream of getting a job. Despite being extremely introverted & typical Hindi medium student, my hard work and school results gave enough confidence to my father to sacrifice his own necessities and spend that money on my studies and personal development to make it to my bright future.
After getting into IIT, having a different level of exposure, my thought process changed probably and then my agenda became "a holistic growth of mine". Music and Arts also started going along with my studies. I started finding extreme fun & motivation in leading the things and making them successful closure. Got a job in a well-known firm and moved ahead.
Playing multiple roles.
It has been 7 years in Pune now and I am living my dreams of what I aspired for. Now I am an artist as a musician/composer, a performer as a founder of a well-known music band, an entrepreneur as an owner of a Music school and most importantly a corporate professional (still working with an MNC as New Product Development Manager)
I do enjoy both my roles’ every moment to the fullest. If this is work-life balance, then probably, I am the lucky one and I have achieved a bit of it.
